UCDS v5 ile Ford ve Mazda araçlardaki gizli özellikleri aktifleştirmek için öncelikle cihazı araca ve bilgisayara bağlayın. UCDSys yazılımını çalıştırın ve "Modül Konfigürasyonu" veya "As-Built Data" bölümüne gidin. Burada aracınızın modeline göre değiştirilebilecek parametreleri göreceksiniz. Örneğin, otomatik katlanır ayna fonksiyonu, konforlu sinyal (tek dokunuşta 3 kez sinyal verme), Coming Home/Leaving Home aydınlatması gibi gizli özellikleri aktifleştirebilirsiniz.
