AUTOOL DM303, 3 adet 1.5V AAA pil ile çalışır. Normal kullanım koşullarında yaklaşık 100 saat pil ömrü sunar. Ekranın arka aydınlatması açıkken bu süre yaklaşık 40 saate düşer.
Evet, cihazın pil ömrünü uzatmak için otomatik kapanma özelliği bulunmaktadır. Herhangi bir tuşa basılmadığı veya döner seçici kullanılmadığı takdirde cihaz 15 dakika sonra otomatik olarak kapanır. Bu özellik istenirse menüden devre dışı bırakılabilir.
